Với mô hình dịch vụ LTSC/ LTSB (LTSC – Long Term Servicing Channel/ LTSB – Long Term Servicing Branch), khách hàng có thể trì hoãn việc nhận các bản cập nhật tính năng và thay vào đó chỉ nhận được cập nhật chất lượng hàng tháng trên các thiết bị. Các tính năng Windows 10 có thể được cập nhật với chức năng mới, bao gồm Cortana, Edge và tất cả các ứng dụng Universal Windows apps, sẽ không được bao gồm trong phiên bản Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC/ LTSB này. Các bản cập nhật tính năng được cung cấp trong các bản phát hành LTSC mới cứ sau 2 năm 3 thay vì cứ sau 6 tháng và các tổ chức có thể chọn cài đặt chúng dưới dạng nâng cấp tại chỗ hoặc thậm chí bỏ qua các bản phát hành trong vòng đời 10 năm. Microsoft cam kết cung cấp các bản sửa lỗi và bản vá bảo mật cho mỗi bản phát hành LTSC trong khoảng thời gian 10 năm này.
